Awaken your creativity, explore and have fun.
The processes in this workshop will help participants engage the intuitive brain. Unlike regular art classes and workshops, there is no emphasis on product, technique or judgement rather you'll be given tools to move beyond the inner critic, fear, perfectionism and holding back, to re-establish the wonder, mystery and freedom of the creative process, a freedom that extends beyond the paper into dynamic changes in everyday life.
Process: With the primary colours, watercolour paint is poured onto paper. With breath, through a straw, the paint is moved around and then covered with plastic wrap. The paint is allowed to dry until next day. When dry, the plastic wrap is removed revealing images that were formed and then are defined with water-colour pencils. Writing about the painting's inspiration is encouraged.
No previous art experience required.
