Are you seeking support for a mental health issue? Do you find that music speaks to you in a unique way? Have you ever heard a song and had it resonate with you so much that you felt as if it had been written about your life? Have ever you heard a song and been inspired to make changes?

Peer Support Playlist is a peer support group with a musical twist. Each week, participants are encouraged to identify and share one piece of music that resonates with them. The group will spend some time listening to songs or reading lyrics and then use them as starting points for discussions about personal struggles, successes, and aspirations. Everyone in the group, including the facilitator, will have some lived experience with a mental health issue, and group members can draw on on their own experiences to support and learn from each other in a safe, non-judgmental environment.

Ingie is a full-time counsellor with over five years of professional experience who is currently working towards a Masters Degree in Social Work and is a member of the “Faces of Recovery” campaign.
