Have a poem that you'd love to put to music but don't know how to go about doing it? Have a melody or chord progression that you love but don't know how to go about adding lyrics? Or do you have an idea for a song that you've been working with for a while, but just need some guidance to bring it to life? This workshop is for you!
We will spend one and a half hours in a songwriter's workshop with the end goal of giving you the tools to write a complete song. Bring your instrument, lyrics, voice, and sense of creativity and exploration. This will be a non-judgmental environment to explore music as a form of self-expression.
Michelle is an avid musician, songwriter, and performer, who has written dozens of songs and performed at many events. She understands the potential frustrations and roadblocks involved in songwriting and can help you let go of perfectionism and hangups in order to move forward with a creative idea.
